Recent Advances in
Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
A two-day course on recent
advances in ultrasound imaging will be held on April 27th and
28th 2006. The course will cover the basic principles and the latest
advances in ultrasound, including harmonic imaging, colour and power Doppler,
elastography, 3D and 4D applications and includes a series of invited
presentations on the latest developments in the subject.

Exhibition/Practical
‘hands-on’ sessions
An exhibition of the
latest ultrasound equipment will be held throughout the two days. Between two and three hours will be available each day for delegates to gain supervised training and practical experience in the use of ultrasound systems in scheduled
sessions within the programme.
