NDE of Composites Course 2005

This course is held annually at QinetiQ's facility in Farnborough in Hampshire and provides an introduction to the principles, capabilities and limitations of the main NDE methods of use for inspection of composites materials and structures. This year's course takes place from 8th to 10th November 2005. Diagnostic Sonar's ultrasonic phased array technology and FlawInspecta imaging system has been used over the last decade by QinetiQ's NDE group to achieve very rapid full waveform acquisition for mapping of composites - both in standalone mode and with the ANDSCAN mapping system. Not only will this be demonstrated during as part of the course, but Diagnostic Sonar will also be exhibiting the FlawInspecta system and the Karl Deutsch range of NDT products as part of the Manufacturer's Demonstrations on 10th November.
