3D viewing with FlawInspecta

The speed and ease of use of the FlawInspecta has always been one of its advantages when acquiring volumetric data. The interpretation of this data has now been further improved by the addition of rendered 3D images. View a pdf document that demonstrates its advantages.

The 3D rendered image can be created from any new or previously acquired C-scan set and the operator can use the mouse to interact with the image to optimise the view angle and scaling. Changes to the gate position and width and to the colour palettes are automatically implemented on the 3D presentation. The view can be saved as a JPG image for inclusion into reports. There is also an option of a continuously rotating 3D view and this can also be saved as an AVI file - download an example (4.53MB).
